Tell me it can’t be true. Following 8 years of disastrous governance, the Democrats field the best candidate this country has seen in generations, against one of the worst the Republicans have ever mustered, and the media’s political pundits would have us seriously contemplate more of the same. Is anyone ever going to learn?” - Chaz Maviyane-Davies

This election gives us a rare opportunity to make a choice and commit to one of two drastically different sets of ideals. We can cower in the shadows of our problems, divide and fall, or we can band together, get to work and make a difference. This election is about one thing: Fear versus Empowerment. Please choose wisely.” - Frank Chimero

After being lost in the Bush for 8 years, they now want us to believe McCain is able to lead us out of the wilderness of war, social discord and financial disaster created by the Republicans.
Hope, vision, clear thinking and fiscal responsibility is what is called for.
Only Barack Obama can give us that. Give change a chance.” - Andrew Lewis

The strategies and tactics of the current—and would be future—Republican administration are rooted in fear, violence and deception. Not only must this illegitimate war end, but so must this version of Washington—whether pronounced correctly or not.” - Brett Traylor

There is no doubt that this is a critical moment in history. Americans need to educate themselves on the issues and recognize that Obama is the candidate who can save us from spiraling into a dangerous future. As John F Kennedy said, “The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all.” - Melissa Jun

It’s been a long eight years, and I’m tired. Tired of an administration that has failed in the face of every conceivable challenge; tired of an occupation of still to-be-determined length, costs, and consequences; and tired of the incompetence, unilateralism, and deception that pushed us into it. Mostly, though, I’m tired of seeing America beaten down, and I’m ready for a leader with the integrity, the guts, and the vision to help us get back up. That’s why I’m voting for Barack Obama.” - Adam Snetman

“Why would John McCain have said such a thing?
The fundamentals of our current economy include a prolonged war without any endgame strategy, special interest tax breaks for oil companies and a deregulated banking industry that wrote mortgages with flimsy premiums based on non-existent credit. Barack Obama recognizes that these problems are interconnected by the misguided spending of the past eight years. While hardly an instant cure-all, he’s the necessary agent of reform that we need.” - Matt Dorfman
